Super Scatter slots explained: instant prize ladders up to 100,000x vs “Super Free Spins”, across 15 Pragmatic Play games
Short answer — On Pragmatic Play’s official pages, “Super Scatter” means one of two things. In six games it is an instant cash ladder: the more Super Scatters help trigger the bonus, the bigger the prize, from 50x or 100x for one up to 50,000x or 100,000x for four. In eight others it upgrades the bonus into “Super Free Spins”, for example wilds with at least 10x or boosted starting multipliers, with no fixed instant prize stated. Sugar Rush Super Scatter states only an instant win “up to 50,000x”. The top rungs are rare by design, and none of the pages say how often a Super Scatter lands. We read all 15 pages on 19 October 2026.
The same label can mean very different things from game to game. This guide sorts the 15 games by what a Super Scatter actually does in each.
Type 1: instant prize ladders
| Game (official page) | RTP | 1 Super Scatter | 2 | 3 | 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gates of Olympus Super Scatter | not shown | 100x | 500x | 5,000x | 50,000x |
| Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter | 96.51% | 100x | 500x | 5,000x | 50,000x |
| Starlight Princess Super Scatter | 96.50% | 100x | — | — | 50,000x |
| Mahjong Wins Super Scatter | 96.50% | 50x | 500x | 5,000x | 100,000x |
| Olympus Wins Super Scatter | 96.50% | 50x | 500x | 5,000x | 100,000x |
| Gates of Olympus Pop | 96.54% | 50x | 500x | 25,000x | — |
Gates of Olympus Pop calls its rungs jackpots: 50x Snap, 500x Spark and 25,000x Burst for one to three super scatters. The Gates of Olympus Super Scatter page showed no RTP when we checked. The Starlight Princess page gives only the overall range of 100x–50,000x.
What the ladder means in pesos
On a ₱10 bet, by our calculation, the Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus Super Scatter ladder pays ₱1,000, ₱5,000, ₱50,000 and ₱500,000 for one to four Super Scatters. Mahjong Wins and Olympus Wins pay ₱500, ₱5,000, ₱50,000 and ₱1,000,000. The first step is ×5 or ×10, and the last is ×10 or ×20, so almost all of the advertised maximum sits in the last, rarest rung. The pages do not publish how often any rung is reached.
Type 2: Super Free Spins upgrades
| Game (official page) | RTP | What a Super Scatter does |
|---|---|---|
| 5 Lions Megaways 2 | 96.50% | 3+ scatters including a super scatter trigger Super Free Spins |
| 5 Lions Reborn | 96.50% | Super Scatter in the base game can trigger Super Free Spins |
| Cyberheist City | 96.50% | Super Free Spins: all wilds carry at least 10x |
| Eastern Fury | 96.53% | Super Free Spins: minimum multiplier 10x |
| John Hunter and Galileo’s Secrets | 96.50% | Super Free Spins at a random Bronze/Silver/Gold/Super level; money-symbol respins |
| Sanatorium Secrets | 96.47% | Three scatters plus a super scatter: Super Free Spins |
| The Dog House Megaways 1000 | 96.50% | Super scatters unlock two enhanced bonus levels |
| Wonders of Aztec | 96.55% | Bomb symbols boost the starting reel multipliers |
| Sugar Rush Super Scatter | 96.58% | Up to 50,000x instant win when at least one Super Scatter triggers the bonus |
In these games, a Super Scatter changes the bonus round rather than paying a stated lump sum. The value depends on how the upgraded round plays out, so there is no fixed figure to compare.
RTP across the 15 games
Where shown, the RTPs run from 96.47% (Sanatorium Secrets) to 96.58% (Sugar Rush Super Scatter), a 0.11-point spread. That is about ₱11 per ₱10,000 bet by our calculation, too small to choose between them on. Your platform may run a different RTP setting, so check the game’s information screen.
Before you chase a Super Scatter
- Read which type the game uses: an instant ladder or a Super Free Spins upgrade.
- Treat the top rung as a rare outcome, not a target. Most bonus triggers will include no Super Scatters at all.
- If a game offers a feature buy that guarantees Super Scatters, check its price in the game before using it.
- Set your budget first.
Before you play
Online gaming in the Philippines is for adults only (21+), so check the age rule and the licence of the platform you use. Set a budget and a time limit before you start. A 100,000x top prize does not make a winning session more likely.
